Text messages backup?

If you factory reset I assume you lose your text messages. Is there a good app to back them up and then restore them?

I've been using this for years. SMS Backup & Restore

I use Super Backup Pro which does a very nice job for messages, contacts, etc. and backs them up to both your phone storage and to the cloud like Google Drive if you choose. I have had occasion to recover my txt messages and found it east to use recovery and I got all the messages contained in the backup restored quickly and completely.

I used SMS Backup & Restore. If you with AT&T they have a boat ware app that will do this as well.

Can't you just back up and restore via the Samsung account in Backup and reset menu?

G Cloud backup is great. If you get another Samsung phone, you can copy messages over via Samsung Smart Switch app

I have att well my note went wacky and they sent me a replacement. I ended up with all my text messages from last August 21 when I got the note after I rebooted it

Smart switch will back them up and I also have an app called sms backup and restore.
