text messaging and updates

If my tab didn't have text messaging I probably wouldn't have bought it. I like that it can do that for me. What happens to this when all tablets are getting honeycomb? There is no native texting in the OS. Does this bother anyone else?

You can text honeycomb too. I believe any android device that has cell service will be able to send text messages.

The Xoom does not text. There are various workarounds for this issue, one basically using dropbox and a program named smssync which allows you to essentially clone you mobile phone's sms service. Another work around involve using a modified version of Google Voice.
