On my Samsung Note 9 with T-Mobile all of a sudden the last two or three weeks off and on I've been getting delivery report notifications when I send a text. I never got them before and it's a pain in the you-know-what. I can't seem to find a way to turn it off as I never turned it on to start with. Any ideas? Thanks

Obviously, two different messaging apps, but I just looked through ALL the settings on my AT&T Text Messaging App and could not see anything that would cause that?

It sounds like Tmobile has switched on their RCS messaging. How to turn the delivery reports off, got no idea since we haven't gotten that turned on yet.

Is there an option for "get SMS delivery reports"? Possibly under settings/text msg. I'm assuming you are not referring to chat, since that indicator is discreet.

I've looked under settings for individual people as well as settings for the text messaging. I'm using the stock note 9 text messaging I haven't added anything different.

What do you mean two different messaging apps? I'm just using the stock one that came on my Note 9.

Check settings in the Samsung texting app.
Look for More Settings>Text messages> Delivery reports and turn off

Nope... Had checked there... It always showed delivery. But I hadn't been getting a text delivery report. Till recently. 20200526_173214.jpeg

So I just shut off the toggle in the above picture and didn't get a text delivery report. But now my text also doesn't say delivered like it had been for years... Hmm..

Yeah its one or the other , you have the carrier version or unlocked?

I meant, I was researching for you from an AT&T App knowing that YOU were T-Mobile! NOT, that YOU had two different Apps...
