Simply put, what's hr best soo for mirroring you're texts in you're computer and phone? Either push bullet, or airdroid. What does everyone prefer here? Thank you!

I use MightyText and so far I'm pleased. It's not perfect, though, but I like it much better than PushBullet (plus, since PB implemented their pay plans, that's even more out of the question).

The BEST option, however, is to use a Google Voice number for texting. That way you have your texts available in any device with Hangouts or access to Hangouts on the web. Downside? Google Voice texting only works for US/Canada numbers.

What are your thoughts on airdroid though?

I tried airdroid, worked great for a few minutes then noticed my phone screen would not turn off when not used, tried installing again after last airdroid update but still screen would not shut off...deleted it

I used AirDroid for everything.
However, now I'm on Project Fi & hangouts, so hangouts.google.com is all I need now, ha.

So, I just downloaded and started using Push Bullet again, I LOVE IT! It works really well, and when you text from the PC, it auto clears out the phone notifications as well!

PushBullet with Textra doesn't clear notifications for me. Was there something you had to set up to do that?

SideSync is what I use. It mimics your phone on your computer screen.

....And it's a Samsung product, and it allows connectivity through wifi or USB, and you can answer calls while connected, and it allows for file transfers from device to desktop.... :-)

No you're right it doesn't which is slightly annoying . The other annoying aspect of push bullet is the fact that for free, they only allow you 100 and messages per month before you have to pay monthly for a subscription. Ugh

What about the PC sync software for respective smartphones...my old Xperia Pro came with compatible with official PC sync app from Sony that allowed me to read and create texts from my PC. Do the major companies still support this feature?
