Text notification

If I use a song, tune etc for a notification is there any way to shorten the tune, or do you just have to let the song play out fully either until answered or the tune finishes, It jus annoying when I receive a text and cant answer immediately, i.e. whilst driving etc. I have a samsung S4 Mini

U could edit it by using ringtone maker in the playstore. Or just use a shorter notification alert.
