Hello be nice please, my first post, Is it just me? I would like the choice of Text display for Nexus4, on my previous android phone you could have sticky notes , note pad and my favourite green/orange pages. Also why on such a large screen does the N4 only show 3 lines when texting , most times not an issue but when you send a longer text and want to re read before sending I do not want to scroll up and down. Google please read and take note!!!!!!!!! . Is there a system of direct feedback to Google for their products I could not see an obvious one on Google website.

Just use a different texting app, there are hundreds of choices out there

Thanks for the reply , I presume this would involve Rooting and removing the built in text app and adding a text app. Sorry if I am being dense.

Nope, just download a third party texting app from the play market. No rooting needed.

And disable text notifications from the stock messaging app or else you'll get two notifications for every text.

No root necessary. Simply search the Play Store for a texting/SMS application and install it on your phone.

You can either disable the built-in app (Settings > Apps > All > Messaging > Disable), or simply go into the settings inside of the stock Messaging app and disable notifications so it doesn't bother you.

You aren't restricted to one SMS-handling app on the device at a time. ;)

Thank you for the support , all is well now , you must think I fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch. on the way down.
