Text randomly turning to symbols throughout OS?

I noticed this for the first time when I put the extended battery in (stock no root), but it was fine after a reboot. Now for some reason it seems especially bad (currently running Zygot3). Reboots don't seem to fix it. Anyone else experience this and/or know how to fix? Or did I get a lemon?

I've never experienced this. Have you changed your font recently or selected a different language?

I haven't ever changed font or size so I don't think that would be the cause
