Texting lag is KILLING me!

Yeah I am and im thinking about just doing that. Is there any way to backup and restore like the iphone? Maybe something in the file system is screwed up.

I use SMS Backup+. It yet have to fail me. Works EVERY time I do a custom rom install and restore.

Since you're on Verizon, I highly recommend trying out the Verizon Messages app to use for SMS. Normally, I remove all VZW crap, but this messaging app is pretty nice. Not as many aesthetic options as some other 3rd party apps, but I find texting works so much better on Verizon phones when using it.

What's also nice is that it supports group messages (like the iPhone). Not sure if Note2's stock app does this or not (I have an S3), but the functionality is there. Pop-up notifications is a nice plus as well.
