Texting with Bluetooth via Voice-to-Text?

Hi guys, just wondering, this works for bluetooth headset. How do we activate S-Voice if we're not using BT headset? Would we have to manually unlock out phone and hold the S-voice activation button? There's no one button phone shortcut?

I see this question is a few years old, but I have googled and googled for a solution. I could not find one but finally figured it out myself. I have a Samsung Note 3 so not sure if it works same for Note 2 or 4. Here is how you do it on the note 3:

Go to Settings
Controls
Language and Input
Under Speech go to Voice Input
Each option has a radio button but to the right of the option selected then go to the settings for that option
Make sure bluetooth headset “Records audio through Bluetooth headset is available” is on

I also have a Platronics blue tooth.

I have a blu products studio 5.3 s running ice cream sandwich and I did find that check box to enable voice to text through bluetooth and it works fine. But now I have lollipop on Zenfone 2 and I cannot find the check box or find a solution
