Texts over WIFI?

Hello there,
I have the S4 for Verizon, and i have no service at my house, but i have amazing WIFI signal. Is there a way that i could send texts over WIFI with using the stock messaging system?

I turned off my moble data sometimes and I go on to wifi and I am able to sent and get text messages. And I to have the galaxy s4

I think t-mobile is the only carrier with that.

You don't need mobile data for basic (non MMS) texting. That's why testing usage is usually tracked separately from a data plan (you can get unlimited texting with no data usage, etc).

There is no way to do texting over Wifi with the stock messaging app. You either need some kind of gateway between your network connection and the cell network (which would require a separate app anyway, like Google Voice) or get both ends to use something that requires a network connection (iMessage, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc).
