So.. I have had 2 replacement Gnex's.. and this most recent one worked very well signal wise and didn't have random reboots.. it was hanging on the splash screen sometimes when I rebooted it tho and would take several battery pulls to get it to work. Talked to Verizon and they are sending me a brand new Razr M at no cost and it doesn't affect my unlimited data or my upgrade date.

so yes.. verizon rocks.

That's nice of them, I was thinking about the razr M but it just feels to small for me even if it's an "edge to edge" phone

wow....even though it is a nice device, i would not have taken that....its a downgrade IMO. worse screen, worse camera, worse software, non removable battery, and a quarter of the memory (hope they throw in a SD card)

its a solid device, dont get me wrong, but its a step back...but thats just me. if you like it, I am happy for you...it will for sure get better signal than the gnex...lol

I consider it a big time upgrade.. signal sucks on this phone.. I've had three and they all scratched easily.. and pretty badly.. gorilla glass is very underrated around here lately. I also much prefer the form factor.

Glad your happy with the phone... its all a matter of preference... good thing we get choices with Android :)

so an update on this.. got my razr M this morning.. and its an amazing phone, im seriously in love with it. but heres the bad part: random power cycling. I know I stated above it was a new phone and I didn't mean that, I meant a certified new (a verizon refurb.. ugh) anyhow I called them back today and with another 20 minute phone call I have another razr M getting delivered overnight saturday delivery for tomorrow. hopefully this one doesnt reboot 20 times in one day like the one I have now does.. because the phone other then that is incredible!.

I know noone cares about benchmarks or quadrant scores.. but my galaxy nexus barely broke 1800.. my current razr m broke 4800. oh and I just heard it randomly reboot in the other room while I wrote this sentence.. fkn aye!

Same story. My Droid Charge was replaced 4 times and Big Red upgraded me to my now awesome 32g Gnex. Thanks Verizon!

My Nexus and my wife's Quadrant score is 2350-2400, why such a difference between your Nexus and ours? We are both pure stock JB.

I'm not familiar with RAZR M. However, I think the Galaxy SIII cost more, no? Verizon is offering me a Galaxy SIII free because of the GN's bluetooth problem on Jelly Bean.
I have not decided to accept the offer or not.

No idea.. my gnex ran fine. I did notice I was several hundred below where they had the gnex.

The Razr M is an amazing phone. Total sleeper hit. Bummer about the random rebooting (hopefully the new CLN won't do that); mine has never rebooted itself and gets great signal.

The non removable battery suits me just fine. I would never carry an extra battery around with me. Don't get the need unless you work a job where you're on the go all day and never near an outlet. Not that I have ever needed to plug this phone in outside of my house at night - I can pull close to 30 hours on one charge.

Enjoy your M.

yea.. this phone is truly a sleeper hit. Best phone I've ever owned and my new one doesn't reboot at all, the other one clearly was very messed up.

this one honestly feels like the most rock solid phone I've ever owned or tried. I don't know why all phones aren't built like this.. the size and battery life with the performance and the 4.3 inch beautiful screen with barely any bezel is perfect.

i'm at 71% battery on my phone right now and its been unplugged for 11 and a half hours.

I would not take a straight up trade for this phone with any other phone on the market currently.
