Were in GA? if you don't mind me asking. I called the store near me in Morrow and, the rep I talked to said she doubted it would come out tomorrow because they hadn't heard anything.

My rep called me just now saying his Manager had received word from higher up saying it will be available tomorrow. God I hope so, I can't take much more of this.

My suggestion is to carry on with your life. If you are watching TV one night and see a Verizon galaxy nexus commercial then mosey over to your Verizon store and pick one up. That or continually be let down by rumored dates.....
Everyone's been so sure about every rumored date its almost embarrassing. Fool me once shame on you....fool me twice shame on me.
I don't even care whose fault it is anymore these rumored releases are obnoxious. The fact I'm addicted to reading them isn't helping either...
Kinda what I'm trying to get across... I want to move on with life, but my damn need for new tech is cutting the moving on process off...

Dude you really need to pay attention. You've posted this in two threads, and there are already other conversations about this exact thing happening.
Just text messaged my friend who works at the VZW store here in Waldorf, Md. She doesn't have a clue when it comes out, and they haven't been sent any notification or email to sell it tomorrow.
Hopefully that comes down later on today though. I'll continue to harass her every 2-hours.
The only place I have been to in the DMV that has any idea what's going on is the Best Buy in Mitchellville.
Also to add to the rumor. I went to this Best Buy on Sunday and asked for the phone. The "new" associate was going to go get one and was stopped by a more "experienced" associate. They were under the belief that it would be sold soon but would not give a date. (That was this past Sunday) So I will assume that to mean they have stock.
I just called a corp store in Ft Lee, NJ and the rep would not confirm anything. I told her that I knew she has them in stock already and she said she can neither confirm nor deny. Jesus, this is not military classified information. She did say they would not be opening early tomorrow, considering there's been no advertising, I guess there would be no need.
The only good news is I finally got a CSR to give me the $100 discount so I'm good to go when if finally does get here......

Just got off the phone with one of the sales rep in corp store here in Bridgewater. He confirmed it for tomorrow although he knows that there is no official release statement yet. He scheduled me in for 10am. Let's see !! Keeping my fingers crossed.:-X

All the people seem to say tomorrow until I push them on how they know its tomorrow and then they check and come back with the "we have no official date" response. So how do the "its tomorrow" people know? Or think they know?
...and there about a dozen different threads talking about the release date, but they all get new posts, the same info and different info. i'm just trying to spread pertinent information, and i'm subscribed to a handful of threads and thought i'd share what i saw in these threads. relax buddy.
anyways...whether or not this email/twitter response was actually sent out today, it still begs the question of whether Verizon would release launch info today, or will they do a truly soft launch and only announce the phone on the actual launch day...im hoping the latter. but not really banking on tomorrow.

My 2cts.
Just called my Corp. VZW store in Raleigh, NC. Spoke with a nice sales agent, he checked with his boss and told me it was still a go for tomorrow. Said that they had a demo unit (could not tell me about the stock in the back). Made an appointment for 1:00PM EST tomorrow to pick it up.
Final note, he did give me his cell number and told me to call at 9AM tomorrow morning so that he could go in the back and pull one for me (told me they cannot hold devices overnight for customers).
Here's to hoping nothing else comes out of the Big Red HQ by then
