AC Question
My Samsung Galaxy Mega corrupted its data store on the 46GB SD card, rendering a number of APP2SD'd apps inoperable. Attempting to remove the apps causes the phone to reboot if a manage to stumble over a fried app. I uninstalled and/or moved back to phone storage all apps on the SD. I then offloaded all data and media files to my PC. Seeing the following behaviors:
1) Format doesn't do anything other then prompt for PIN, unmount, erase the data, remount the SD and everything is still there an intact - not the goal!
2) From the phone I deleted all data and media. The next day it was back.
3) From the PC I cannot delete anything through the phone or when the SD is mounted in a SD adaptor
4) Format from the PC also fails...
5) Currently erasing everything using a SD adaptor and Mac - I think the files will finally be gone for good but the .Android and .Android_secure folders will still be present (though hidden) so I am not holding out much hope for a reformat working ...
So, as the title alludes, the 64GB question is - what next? I shouldn't have to keep buying new SD's just to start anew, should I?
