I seriously thought this was a 6T Amber Red Edition the second I saw it.

Don't believe me?

Check out the dimensions in the GSMarena comparison.
The 7 being just 0.2" taller, I'm pretty sure your 6T cases will fit just fine lol

This is basically like Apple from the 6 to 6S to 7 to 8.

This further reinforces my belief that all slabs look almost identical to one another.

The 7 is has the same dimensions as the 6t, but the spec sheet looks more like the 7 Pro than the 6t. I wish it was available in the US, I would have gotten it in a heartbeat. I wound up getting the Pro, it arrives today.

If you already have the 6T, it makes zero sense to get the 7 non-Pro

Maybe not. If you can sell it well and are willing to import the 7, maybe you wouldn't even need to put money on top of the 6T to make the switch.

You gain a better SOC, faster storage, USB 3.1, a better fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. And maybe a better camera, too.

I really doubt you'd be able to do that without putting any money on top.

Sounds like very marginal upgrades to me, but the "better SOC" is completely unnecessary.
The SD845 is already overkill for the 99.9% majority of smartphone users.
Matter of fact, I can't even think of 1 thing that you can do well on a 855 that you can't do just as well on an 845.

A 6T, 6 or even the previous generation are more than fast enough to last well into 2022 and maybe beyond.

They're selling us speed we don't really need.
