The annual trade-in race

I'm not trading at this time, but something I did seemed to change things. I always had issues trading in phones when I dropped them off at a local FedEx/Kinkos in my area (phone return boxes arriving empty, damaged, etc.). The attendants would ask me what I was sending back. I switched to dropping the phones off at a FedEx hub near my employer, and everything has gone smoothly since.

It could be just a coincidence, but I'm not taking any chances anymore.
Interesting. I use the location for my office as well. So far, so good.

I dropped mine off yesterday afternoon to head back. Hopefully get the email soon that it's on the way there. Hoping for a smooth process using UPS this time.

I always found it strange when I was asked what I was returning. I normally say things like underwear or if it's heavy, some shoes or anything other than high value items. I also make sure to package it so if shaken, it does not move.

I'll be taking mine into my local UPS store tomorrow. I live in a small town so the ladies know me there, I haven't had any issues in the past so I'm hoping for a smooth transition 🤞🏾

It's too late to drop off today but will be dropping off it at UPS tomorrow

Can't stand the old phone once new toy arrives and need that gone ASAP

Dropped off my S25 Ultra at the UPS Store this afternoon.

Everyone should remember to sign out of all of your accounts, factory reset your phone along with taking off the screen protector and back camera protectors (if applicable) before boxing it up.

Hope I have better luck than last year. They didn't acknowledge my turning for 21 days, but granted the credit when I complained. I'll be shipping my return out tomorrow.

I've gone longer then that before. As long as you have received your trade in email you are fine as they won't charge you, it just sucks waiting for the it's accepted email. That time it took so long I forgot about it and was reminded when I got the accepted email. It s just Samsung doing Samsung things.

I got my phone yesterday and my trade it has to be back by 3/22. Today, I removed the sim card off the old phone. Logged out of all my accounts. Uninstalled everything that could be uninstalled and then factory reset it. I removed the case and the screen protector. Polished it up.
And tomorrow, I will drop it off at a UPS authorized shipper. It is in pristine condition. Hopefully, all will be well and I'll get the $800 trade in amount. Knock wood.

That happened to me with my S10+. By the time the S9+ was accepted, I'd forgotten I never received confirmation. Samsung really does the most sometimes.

I'll get mine in the mail by the weekend I guess. It's Spring Break and I'm lazy.
