Okay real talk here did anyone really expect otherwise ? Samsung could've put out an empty shell and change the name and they would outsell their predecessor people are buying off of brand loyalty and following trends. HTC dropped the ball 3yrs ago and its going to take at least 3-4 phones great ones at that in order to gain that foot hole like Samsung has right now...Say what you want Samsung was going to start pulling off an apple but with HTC new found vigor that will be a different story...Now HTC needs marketing like a man in the dessert needing water...and then just raising the bar on build and quality with each phone....
Aside from the manufacturing process which is atrocious at best, I don't see them making a phone that's built much better than this. Which is fine because it's gorgeous.
This phone is a reviewers dream, but it doesn't hold the same weight with the average consumer. Their marketing strategy is flawed already and they missed the boat on the small window they had before the S4 came out. They're still having supply issues (apparently being rectified this month and next) and have yet to really make much headway as evidenced by the record amount of sales/devices shipped by Samsung.
This phone is amazing. There's no denying that. Pretending it's a big seller like the S4 or iPhone 5 is just your way of wanting it to be more important than it actually is. Give them time; this may be the phone that starts their ascension to the top.
