The iPhone SE 2020 basically just killed the Pixel 4a and other value flagships...

So, on topic, has the Pixel 4a been declared dead yet?
If not, will it still be released this month?
I’m still happy with my 3a but want to see how they improve this lineup.
I heard june so far .

That sounds about right.
I’m sure that has to do with procuring parts needed for the phone.
Apple was able to get theirs out (SE) probably because of the use of older parts but sounds like the 12 will be delayed.
Yeah you might be right .

I too heard that the Pixel 4a will be released in June. Fingers crossed!

Well, hot on its heels in July will be the OnePlus Z! Leaks point to a roughly $500 price, SD765 (5G!), 6.4 inch 90hz FHD AMOLED display, headphone jack and dual/triple rear cameras with a punch-hole design.

Summer will be super fun for phone releases! Can't wait! And the OnePlus z *does* sound enticing!

I read the Iphone 12 release would be in Oct,maybe it will ? Either way I'm not getting any new phones this year. :)

Here's my opinion: if you are a light mobile phone user, then iPhone SE 2020 version is worth buying. If there is a demand for playing games, long battery life, and taking pictures, it is not recommended.

Plus, with chargers and outlets being so accessible and nifty portable chargers too, the SE becomes an even more attractive choice. :)

Why not playing games or taking pictures? If gaming has to do with battery life it is easy to charge. It certainly can handle any gaming with one of the best processors available.
As far as the camera it has a very capable camera. Of course the Pixel has night mode which beats it if you are into night time photos.

It's their bottom line they're listening to.

Whatever we feel it is, it’s a good thing. Competition is a good thing. I feel it’s all being driven by people keeping their iPhones longer and not wanting to pay top dollar any more.
I guess we’ll have to see how successful the new SE and 4a are.

Agreed, competition is always good.

It'll be a rumble, alright! I'm looking forward to it!

We’re discussing value phones, not high end.
There are plenty of high end phones. Many are tired of paying these prices. That is why the Pixel line (a) and iPhone SE are intriguing.

This was to point out that the high end phones keep making and meeting all time high prices and the value phones are indeed the way to go for people.

They are getting ridiculous. The value in these high priced phones just isn’t there, in my opinion.
