Just received another update at around 200mb.

1)power optimisations.

2)Apps

3)Knock Code...

Obviously I'm rooted again and can't install, so anyone here unrooted that has received this?

Yes, just checked, I've got the v10h pending but it wants me to hook up to wifi first, so it'll have to wait. LG are good with these updates, that'll be the third for me.

One of the features of the update is a camera icon bottom right of lock screen. Double tap to wake, swipe icon to your left, and you're in Camera. Quick, good.

Yeh not to concerned about that, I can hold volume down and launch into the camera app

Bit of envy at not being able to update lol

However I just couldn't be without root and having my set up...

My G3 is as smooth as it can be and I like it, just need 1 fix and yeh I'll be happy, still won't be perfect of course as what is really? But will then provide me with a G3 that I can say meets my requirements

Did you see in G3 Tweaks under Misc. you can program the up and down volume keys to open just about anything? Outstanding!

I am waiting to see an update that adds something I would actually want. Perhaps a fix for ART to be more stable on Verizon.

I think the only update that will legitimately come is Android L, whenever that may be.

Yeh I did Bbseatle (very convenient) its great that you are enjoying root and G3 tweakbox.

Whilst this obviously prevents installing updates to which I have been impressed with. the updates have been in good range from small fixes to more advanced.

However with root & G3 tweakbox especially v1.2 that allows you to change so much to your liking.

Bar 1 still niggling issue my G3 is running as smooth as it can and not causing me any issues that I need to ask for support for. So I'm not to concerned about updates other than the possibility of Android L upon release.

It's appropriate that South East Asian versions, such as you mention having in another thread, should be ahead of other versions, considering that that's the part of the world where the devices are made. Electronics geniuses.
