The LG G3 has arrived :-)

Re: G3 6 months in :-)

Not necessarily... Not everyone needs one :).

Yeah, true. I just think that any flagship 2014 handset should support an SD card. I realise that cloud support is an option, but you can't access cloud services if you've got no service yourself.

Re:

And you have to have the correct drivers... I tried for an entire day to do this and part of the problem was that the forums provided a number of links that provide incorrect drivers for flashing the phone. After I read the entire thread I also discovered the fileswap issue and then there's also the issue of having to unplug and plug your phone back in to get it to initiate the process. I wasted an entire day on something that actually should have taken me about a half an hour at the most. It was very frustrating.

Re:

And people wonder why the carriers and manufacturers want to lock the phones down and prevent rooting. People do things without understanding what they're doing, and then blame the manufacturer, or take the phone back and expect someone else to pay for their mistake and replace bricked phones.

If people would just read and learn, and then read some more, and then ask some questions, there would be a whole lot fewer problems for the manufacturers and carriers to deal with.

So Devs are busy cooking and things are beginning to happen.

Cloudy and Android now along with sphinx & MiUI ROMs are available.

I prefer Android Now as I like the volume enhancement but cloudy is smooth.

The tweaks are great and Kickoff & Tesla have a nice android L or now as we know lollipop mod and its really nicely done.

I'm really enjoying the G3 even more that....

Things are beginning to happen :-)

Agreed, haven't unlocked the boot loader yet but will tomorrow. I used cloudy's rom on my g2.

Re: Things are beginning to happen

It's funny because the T-Mobile version, the D851, came with the bootloader unlocked from the get go but there still aren't any real great roms or mods for it. You Europeans get to have all the fun lol.

Re: G3 & Lollipop News

Lg will update us stright to 5.0 and skip 4.4.4 because they included the google patch from 4.4.4 in a ota wich i think was v10i.

Re: LG G3 ROM Android Now :-)

Now on version 2.2 and anyone still experiencing lag needs to root & install the Bump TWRP and flash Android Now its blazingly fast.

Re: ROM Android Now :-)

crap, i was hoping you would say D851 as well.

Go check out CloudyG3 1.1.... based on the international 10m build, but supports pretty much all the different models (customized by an aroma installer when you load the ROM). You lose the T-Mobile specific Wi-Fi Calling, but the thing runs like swiss watch.

Re: LG G3 ROM Android Now :-)

Get this **** working for Verizons G3 and I will download it in a second
