The LGV20 is an incredible phone!

Re: Am I missing something?

I loved the V20 as soon as I read about it. Especially after reading about the V10. I know its crazy that I bought two of them and a V10 but they're all configured differently so it's fun. I'm using Nova Prime on one, Apex on the other V20, and Go Launcher on the V10, so despite the hardware similarities they 'feel' different.

Re: Am I missing something?

Couldn't agree more on the experience V20 has been so far, great screen, audio, camera (in most cases)
However, I am surprised and sometimes saddened how little has this sold, the number of users is certainly nowhere near that of pixel, s7e, or even the economical flagship like one plus 3.

I would hope there is more people buying it in coming months, after all a larger community could ensure more custom roms, or even updates from LG.

If LG wants to see more V20s, why don't they sell it in Europe which is a huge market? I can't understand that.

If I had your money I'd burn mine

I wonder how many sold. I know they claimed 200,000 sold in US after 10 days, but it's been 2 months now.

I believe some European carriers dogged the V20 after the lackluster sales of the G5

From what I have read or seen so far, whichever european carriers or markets did carry the phone, it had good freebies included.

But it hasn't helped that LG couldn't keep it consistent with included free items, here in India, the phone comes with B&O tuning but no logo, and the headphones/earphones included are certainly not the H3.

Apart from a launch event that was just about good, there has hardly been any promotions, even Amazon that's an exclusive online partner has yet to feature the phone on front page.

Re: Am I missing something?

It's taken me months to decide between V20, s7e, and wait for Note 8. My Note 3 has been getting hinky so I finally got the V20. I am pleased. I'm rarely "positive" because I expect too much but I really like this phone. The Oled. screen of Note 8 will likely win me. back but in the meanwhile I am enjoying the experience. Good camera. Good battery life. Very few glitches. Everything seems to work. Hope it keeps up. No reason to think it won't.

The V20 is solid

Re: Am I missing something?

And btw, first time I had no need for Nova. Able to have infinite scrolling and 5x5 without it.

I'm only using Nova because I got it on sale while I had the G5. I could actually use either V20 Home screen with or without an app drawer.

Re: Am I missing something?

I figure I might save a little battery and increases speed by not using it.

I'm not sure it has any affect in that regard if you're think they are both running. I don't believe that to be the case but someone can correct if I'm wrong.

I've upacked, set up and started using mine now. I'm very pleased, too. I see no reason to complain about most anything--except I really hate that there is no light to indicate charging and when complete. I've decided I don't much like the Second Screen--but it is not an issue since it is easy to turn off.

Other than that, now that I've gotten used to it (well, as used to it as I can get in a day or so ;) ), it seems fine, better battery life than my Note 4, snappier, excellent all around. Really, I would expect at this point to say that about any high end phone. They all do the job, but it's good to report that this does it as well. The one thing I have to experiment with more is the camera. But so far, so wonderful. And removable batteries!

Re: Am I missing something?

A lot of people don't care for the second screen until they actually have time with it. I didn't know how much I liked it until I used it. Haha

Re: Am I missing something?

Yes I would love an accessible led for many reasons including charging and it is more visible than second screen notifications when screen is off

When the screen is unlocked, and I'm using the device, it takes up screen space. I see a good use for it when the device is locked. In theory, I rather like that. But doesn't it use a lot of battery?

It doesn't take up that much space.... The camera is on the same line. It is my understanding that it doesn't use much battery.
