The Longest Weekend of my Life is over

I have slept a total of 8-10 hrs in the past three days (I include Friday as a weekend day) hoping for any update on my delivery. I pre-ordered the Nexus 7 8 gb with no cover on June 29th at 3 pm. I got my "UPS Tracking" info on Saturday morning at 2:30a, and finally after speaking with UPS they stated I will receive it tomorrow for sure.

Oddly my tracking info is not updated, nor did I know the package was anywhere near me.

Anyone else have trouble sleeping, and if you are a retail customer who just wants to keep saying Google did no wrong please don't.

Congrats on getting your information. I'm not losing any sleep over it at all. In fact, if I had any information sent to me over the weekend like a lot of you it wouldn't even bother me.

I ordered on the 28 and have heard nothing at all. I figure I may get it late this week or at Gamestop.

Yeah, I would like to see my Nexus 7 soon. After getting an email on Saturday that my unit had shipped only to find that the label had been created on 7/12, and on the UPS site shows no movement.
Per the UPS site delivery is scheduled by the end of the day today, we shall see, if not I will continue to enjoy my iPad 3 although the buyer of my iPad 3 may be a little ticked that it hasn't shipped yet, however I did send him an email that the label has been created and to expect delivery any day now

Mine finally updated today just to shipping info received.... on 7/11. Got the email saying googled shipped it and charged my card on 7/13. No clue when its coming.

I didn't give up my sleep.

When I read on Friday how screwed up this was, I called Staples to check inventory. Went in Saturday morning to pick it up.

Google CAR was actually recommending this. So don't stress. Just get it at a store and refuse the shipment.

You still get the credit. It comes with the purchase of the tablet, not the pre-order. This has been confirmed by others in different threads on the forum.

Per ordered the 27.. label created 7-9 delivery said 7-11. But maybe just maybe my ups thing will update .

No, they will still get it.

Not losing any sleep over a tablet but at least they finally updated the UPS info, took them long enough.

I have read that you need to have a credit card on file or input a credit card to get the credit.

Other than that, there's no specific requirements. I have pre-ordered and will be refusing shipment when it comes. Google CSR actually advised me to do that. Full refund. Paying shipping at this point, is just a sucker mover.

It's not worth getting that worked up over, seriously.

And let's be fair, Google has not backtracked or gone against anything it ever promised in this whole thing. You can't hold them to rumors or leaked info from retail partners.

I spent an entire weekend with no power and 100+ temps two weekends ago...now that was a long weekend...this, meh, whatever.

I didn't realize a tablet was worth loosing sleep over. Yikes. Must be a Jesus tablet. The only time I got that much sleep over the weekend is when the gf wouldn't let me. She functions on very little sleep.

Agreed. It seems rather sad that some one could be so wrapped up about getting a tablet that they can't sleep.

I find it truly sad that so many lose sleep or have a weekend ruined because happiness is equated to trivial non necessary possessions .

I don't care what kind of phone you have, that's not how I judge someone's worth or intelligence.

I didn't exactly lose sleep, but I did keep thinking "any minute now...." I'm at the point where I'm going to stop worrying. It ships when it does. Enough already.
