The new header layout is a regression

Which device(s) and browser(s) are you using?

Also, if I could ask you to clear your cache, that might be helpful, you may be pulling old files!

Have passed this along to our design and tech teams to take a look. Keep in mind we take feedback from multiple sources and couple that with hard data to make our decisions. If we can prove that a change makes sense, we will do it :)

Appreciate the feedback as always!

Has everyone given up on this? It's been over three months since the last reply and the problem still exists.

A number of updates have been pushed on this - you may want to clear your cache to force load the latest version. Let me know if that helps :)

This is with 64 bit Chrome on a PC as I have said before. The only cache available to clear is "Cached images and files". I did that but it doesn't make any difference. How can I tell what version of this forum I am running?

Also, I subscribed to this thread with instant email notification and I didn't get notified about your post. Is that broken too?

No change here (after clearing browser cache or even logging off and closing browser on PC or mobile device), still experiencing the same issues I've previously posted about in the thread. The ONLY time I've ever had these issues stop was when the hide/unhide behavior of the header nav bar was disabled (something that was done for a while back in the early part of 2015), then they returned when it was re-enabled as documented here.

Thanks for the support, and I still didn't get any notification of this post either!

Jim - I've subscribed to this thread as well - let's test together. If I don't get notifications - will have our tech team take a look :)

I know we've encountered some bugs with notification emails in the past!

Side note: Notification emails aren't going to a spam or junk folder are they?

Thanks! I check my Gmail spam folder several times a day, and they're definitely not in there. BTWm the only reason I checked this thread today was because of Syncalwon's like notification on the main page.

No problem. I'm documenting for our tech team as well. Suspect things might be a little slow due to the holidays - but we will get this sorted :)

Thanks James! BTW, I didn't get a notification of either of your replies over the last few days, are you getting notifications?

Are you setting up replies through the AC App, through the website or through a third party app like Tapatalk?

I set up replies through the website, and I didn't get notified about your response either. I didn't get notification that you had quoted my post either, but I don't remember if this forum does that like XDA does.

There are separate options for quotes, notifications, messaging, etc. For subscription notifications you can have it notify only through control panel, instantly by email, daily or weekly by email.
For quotes you do get one in the control panel drop down by default but you can also get an email or private message by clicking a button.

Private messages you can get pop ups, emails, etc. and there is a whole section for those settings.

I'm assuming that this is the page you were using, but I recall recently I set up something on a "follow" page? But I don't see how to get to that. James, do you recall what that was about? A way to manage "follow" settings?

My default is to not notify, but I set this thread and several others to instantly notify as these screenshots show.
