The Nexus 6 is the best android flagship phone you can buy.

I will day this about the iPhone and iOS. What I miss the most about it are iMessage and the multitude of accessories for it. If you want to go into a store and buy Nexus 6 accessories, you are going to be very disappointed. Everywhere you go you can find iPhone accessories and there is a very large selection. Also, the ability to send and receive pictures and videos at max resolution is awesome.

The only thing I like about iMessage is he ability to send and receive video messages like you said. Other than that, I think it's garbage. It doesn't provide the end users anything that other messaging platforms don't already. And I'm fairly certain that Apple uses it to get people locked into their ecosystem by making it difficult to message people when you try to switch away from iOS.

I wish Android had something similar though baked into the stock messaging app. That is the one thing that I believe Android is lacking.

That would be slick. Or that Apple would make imessage into Apple message and make it cross platform. Reason being, I can have group messages coming just fine and one of the people in the group will do something and it'll shift back to imessage for some reason and I won't get messages.

I can see the value in that, but you and I both know that Apple isn't making it cross platform anytime soon. Like I said above, I'm about 99.9% sure that Apple makes it VERY difficult on purpose to switch off of iMessage once you've used it. That isn't accidental. Apple doesn't do something like that accidentally.

Sure it is on purpose and it is smart. If not, they would have an issue maintaining their customers. For many I know iMessage is one of the main reasons for keeping an iPhone.

I was that way for a while but I have finally gotten to a point where I'm just going to use the platform that I want even it means occasionally missing some messages lol. Now, I may use an iPhone again but even if I do I think I'll refrain from using iMessage. :D

Love the pictures this thing takes. Took some really good ones today. Loving this phone more by the second.

I can safely say that I don't have a single complaint about this thing.

A very minor complaint for me is the power button too close to the volume buttons.
With a case it makes pushing the correct one even more difficult.

I sometimes accidentally power the phone off when texting.

One thing I'd add to my previous comment - I've owned a lot of Nexus devices, and with the N4 and N5 I paired them with Nexus 7 tablets, but with the Nexus 6 I find myself not even bothering to charge my N7. Reading, gaming, video watching, etc is just as good on the N6 (especially with the speakers), so I find myself not even needing a small budget tablet. To me that's a major feature, as it simplifies my computing life (I also have a Chromebook, a Macbook Pro, and a homebrew Windows desktop). On trips I find myself just taking the phone unless I know that I'll have to put together a Powerpoint presentation or do a lot of typing.

Any phone that is this awesome and replaces gadgets that take up bag space are double plus good in my book.

So glad i went with the n6 instead of the note 4/s6/g4/turbo. Just being able to unlock and root again is heaven. This is the fastest phone i've ever used hands down. Plus multi tasking is amazing. I can go into say ingress, come back to it 4 hours later after loading a plethora of apps and it comes right up, never needs to reload. LOVE THIS THING!

As I scribble "Nexus 6" on my notebook, I'm so excited to say that today makes one month since we started going steady! ????????????

Not with Jerry on this one at all. flagship pricing for a middling camera, an increasing influence over updates by carriers unlike earlier nexus phones, and access to early updates that don't sort out issues until you would've received the update from an OEM phone anyway.

THIS PHONE IS FREAKING AWESOME! I was rocking a g3 and was waiting for the g4 to come to Verizon and just so happened to be in a vzw store and started checking out the N6. I was hooked from the moment I picked it up lol. I'm glad that I decided on the N6. I have had it now for a couple of months and today it updated to 5.1.1 and believe it or not it got even more awesome lol

I share the same feeling. This is the 1st android phone I own, and I had plenty before it, that is a joy to use. Smooth, fast, slick, Awsome, no wait, FREAKING AWSOME!

I am new to Android and after much research and talking with many Android users I opted for the N6 as my first Android phone. Why not start at the top? I gave up iOS and haven't regretted it like some said I would. I love the size. Big enough to make for easier reading but still pocketable.

Welcome to the UN-walled garden! :D You couldn't have picked a better place to start with Android, IMHO.
