The Note 8 has poor battery life and poor brightness, give me the Note 7!!!

Wow, I've hit 5hr 20 minutes, and averaging a little over 5, but almost 7hrs is unreal! My S7 Edge only broke 4 hours SOT one time!

My battery life has been kinda **** compared to my S8+ but I think it has more to do with using smart switch. I'm going to keep an eye on it and maybe master reset if I have to and start over.

I haven't even got mine yet - I pick it up Friday but I love it already just from reading all of your reviews (except of course the OP) I've been following the data trail since the leaks began and knew this thing was going to be a hit. Like a lot of you, I've been waiting since Samsung took away our Note 7s last October/November... can't wait for Friday!

I will, I just remember that I had battery problems when I smartswitched note7 to note7 last year.
