Froyo for Epic 4G will be pushed starting 2/21/11 over a 4 days period. According to a internal Sprint file it says this will be the version:

Baseband Version = S: D700.0.5S.EB13
Build Number = FROYO.EB13

And the update notes that come with that build:
Enhancements/fixes: upgrade to Froyo 2.2, improved bluetooth device support, bluetooth voice dialing, Flash Player 10.1, GPS enhancements, improved OS performance, ability to install applications to external storage

According to that file, users with DI18 will get the Froyo batch first and Epic owners with DG27 and DI07 will follow.

I just hope that if this information turns out to be another false rumor, that people don't say Sprint/Samsung lied to us again. The fact is this is a rumor still and not official information from Sprint/Samsung. I do hope it is true, but I am just going to be like everyone else (who hasn't rooted and installed custom) and wait and see.

Looks like we're on for a 2/21 release, so please post in the http://forum.androidcentral.com/sprint-epic-4g/60649-sprints-samsung-epic-4g-official-froyo-eb13-effective-2-21-11-a.html thread. If for whatever reason the release does not happen on 2/21, I will reopen this thread.
