First off.. Welcome to the forums.

If you're having the same problem on a different device, then you might be doing something wrong. The chances for the same problem on different devices isn't impossible, but very unlikely.

Did you install any task killer are has done any modification to either phones? This could be what's causing the problem.

Do a factory reset on the device... I'm sure this will eradicate the problem you're experiencing.

*Note*
Keep in mind that any reset done to the phone will wipe clean the phone's data, thus reverting the phone to its original state. (mandatory)

What kind of problem are you experiencing? Mine sound OK. What I did have problems with was the playback quality of a recorded video. I got that fix by changing the resolution quality.

My complaints are small, but complaints none the less.

1: I have my led notifications for emails turned off (sound on, light off), yet erry time I get an email, the led blinks. Every time, all 3 gmail accounts.

2: sometimes after shutting off my phone, some of my ringtones are assigned to the wrong contacts.

4g makes the phone extremely laggy.


Battery life suck, but we all know that.

Hi.
I've decided to make an official complaint thread for the HTC EVO Phone.

(Please feel free to post all your complaints HERE).

One issue is the blinking notification - When the phone is charging there are no blinking notification alerting you of any missed calls, or messages/emails. There is only a steady amber or green light visible.

I wish hulu movies/video clips could be played on the phone.

The portrait keyboard keys should be a little wider/bigger for easier typing(IMO).

That's why I got Wimax notifier and now I do get notifications while charging

I just sent myself a message with notification email flash unchecked. Email came through and there wasn't any blinking led notification. Tried it again - this time I check notification email flash. Email came through and led notification was blinking.

You wanna try that step again. This time reboot the phone first.

That's why I got Wimax notifier and now I do get notifications while charging

There are about six different apps under Wimax Notifier - Which one do you use?

No it's not your phone... I just remember when I did that test I had no led app install. After deleting it I did the steps over, this time the notification led blinks even when I unchecked email flash. These phones will drive you crazy if you allow them too. O

It's not the phone's fault... there could be several things causing this. (1) Adobe Flash might need to be updated on the phone. (2) You should update your data profile. (3) If your problem is with the YouTube app playing videos on the device... a lot of people are facing the same problem including me.. This is definitely a Google problem. You could go to Google feedback page and post your complaint. Here is the link. Google

Probably my biggest, if only complaint I have is the lack of internal memory. I came from the Incredible and I took advantage of the 8GB of internal storage. Even the 748 MB of ROM.

Reading the specs page on here stated that the Evo had 1GB of ROM, but upon starting up my device, I come to find out it's closer to 500 MB.

Not cool.

I've only had my phone for about 2 weeeks, and it is by far the best phone I've ever owned. My only complaint is that i can't play music and use Google Navigation at the same time. Why does it drop the GPS signal when I start playing music? Is there a fix for that?
