Got mine. Line of 8 people since 8 am. They opened 10 minutes early and let us all in. Off to catch up on some work for the day now finally.

YES! I tried to suggest the mods open a "issues/concerns" sticky but the response was when we have them, they will. So far two of us in a 4G area can only get 1X/3G...
I'm in Baltimore.

Just got my phone, and the VZW rep hooked me up. First off I was able to get the TB even though my previous contract didn't end until August. Second I got a discount because of where I work, and if I saw it correctly he sold me the phone for $199, so I'm happy. It's charging now, will run tests and stuff later. But I am now a proud owner of a Thunderbolt!
Bingo! I got mine! They honored the online discount. I put up a thread but I dunno if they'll lock it. I figured it would help out a lot of folks. I haven't had a chance to play with it at all. I called my fianc?e. She was happy that she could finally hear me. Although she did compare me to Phil Dunphy, due to my excitement over the phone.
Was anyone unable to avoid in-store activation? They insisted they had to do 4G SIM activation in store and I had to come back later if I couldn't do it then and there.
Just got mine at the VZ Wireless kiosk at the BJs Wholesale in S. Nashua NH. No lines at all, one guy in front of me was just finishing up his purchase (Thunderbolt) when I got there. Now to learn this thing........

I went to a Verizon Kiosk in a BJ's and got mine this morning. The girl there made a mistake and put the sim in before activating it, along with some slowness led to an hour of getting it right. It was her first time, so won't happen again 4G is super super fast!!!

Wasn't able to get mine in store this morning due to early upgrade issues but mine is now on order from Verizon, thanks to the lady on the phone for working out my issue, and will be in my hands hopefully tomorrow.

DADAT DAT DAT DA I'm loving it. Almost!!! I had to go to work, leave, drive to VZW, purchase phones, drive back to work, and then after work I will do the deed of activating them. My wife wants to makes sure I got the bill portion right...HAHAHAHA...I suck at paying bills! But I tell you what, I have the nicest paperweight in America right now... 80)

Just got back to the office. I'm getting 3 to 4 bars of LTE. I really like the feel of the phone. It's actually not much heavier than the Storm.

So, I woke up this morning after hardly sleeping a wink last night. I was at the VZW store @ 8:30 expecting a small gathering, but nothing yet. As the time got closer to 9 people started showing up. The manager unlocked the door and we all rushed into the lobby like a heard of bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Lucky for me I spoke to this awesome rep a few week's back about the TB. So, when he saw me rush through the door he knew what was up and was already on his way to grab one from the stock room.
Long story short, 33 mins later I was walking out TB in hand hooked up to 4gLTE!

has anybody tried the trade in program? wonder if it works? wonder if they can do it @ the local verizon store? that would be nice i got corp discount and if they do trade i can get it for 149???? that would be very nice..........since im in WEST COAST store not open yet.still got 1hr 15min.... the countdown is on.....
1st in Line. Service was awesome. I made sure I was the first to put my grubby hands on it first, before salesperson did. Took longer due to phone bootingup so fast, before he had gotten my account open on system. Had to shut down to get it to get the PRL correctly.
Man did anyone see those awesome t-shirts they were wearing? I tried to con one away, but no dice.
Okay. 4G signal strong as hell(all full bars). Until I drove to work that is, no 4G here.
First impressions.(Good)
1. Wow love the screen, it is beuatiful, bright and looks amazing.
2. Boots up very fast
3. Added g-mail account, and in mere secs all my contacts were brought in
4. So far, I will say even my 3G signal apears to be better.
5. Love the case that verizon is selling even beter than the seido. it is a dual case, insert is silcone, and the out hard platic. Gives it some serious character
6. this puppy flies around the screen
7. Sense 2.0 is even better than I expected.
(Bad)
1. I had to witness 3 people getting turned away. they refused to move up a upgrade date to one of our own forum memebers(that sucked!!) and another wanted 1 year contract but wasn't able becuase of NE2 problems or such
2. No Skype (manager stated soon.. I cringed when he said that)
3. they do beleive Netflix will be a go(salt anyone?) LOL
Way more later... I am just hugging it tightly right now.
