I was first in line at 8:30, 2 other people showed up before opening. Just the way I was hoping it would be! Love the phone, it feels good in your hand. Now I just have to wait for 4G to arrive. It just stinks I had to go to work. No playing with till lunch time.

yea i'm going from a Envy Touch as well, unfortunately i gotta wait till tomorrow to order online owe money on bill gotta take care of most of it before it allows me to upgrade which is automatically taking from checking account today so probably wont register till tomorrow

I got mine. Was surprised to see only about seven people waiting for it. I do love it so far. I'm still playing with it and am typing this message with it. However I will say that it rebooted itself like 6 times. Don't know what that was about though. Anyways it seems to be fine now.
Got mine!! Arrived at the store about 10 minutes before opening and they had already opened the doors. Only a few people inside. $199.99 on a 2 year. Case with the holster is pretty decent. I have 12 hours today on an off-duty detail today to play with it.
I feel like an idiot. I snapped a pic to test out the camera.. and I was so disappointed in the quality I was about to come on here and rant. Then I realized I still had the plastic thing covering the lens FAIL Lol

Just got back from my early "lunch". It was amusing how little the guy in the store knew about the phone.
Now I have it turned off so that it can get it's full charge. Playing with it will begin shortly after that!

That is odd considering they've supposedly been a lot of updates to it recently before they would officially announce and start selling it. But I digress. Carry on
It finally updated after a while.
Well, I got mine today. I was the only one in the store in Chickasha, OK. I was their first one.
Took them forever and she said I was the guinea pig. Of course, I didn't mind.
Sales lady told me that they received training on it last Wednesday and it was a sweet phone.
She had trouble getting the SIM card activated. First, she didn't know where it went and I had to show her (Thanks to AC for the pics, BTW). Second, she couldn't get the computer to recognize the sim card #. Ended up they have to put it into the accessories part of the phone.
She told me the insurance was same price as the IPhone 4 and I told her I didn't think so. When she finally got to that part, it was still $6.99. (Again thanks AC).
I went with Verizon the day DroidX came out so I still have 11 months to upgrade. I paid $599.99 for the phone. Nothing else changed on my plan and I am still eligible to upgrade in 11 months. Woo hoo. Might have to get the next best thing then too.
One problem I forsee, is I hope there is a way to disable 4G for now. I live about 10 miles or so from the fringe of the 4G area. I have seen the 4G pop up momentarily and then go back to 3G. I can see this action sucking the battery wayyyyyy to much.... Maybe not. I have to charge it fully because it was only about 40% when I got it.
So far so good, the phone is sweet!
