I just checked my order status for a blue 32G and it has changed to: "Status: The equipment has shipped and/or the activation is complete "

Sadly, no tracking number yet...I will check with UPS and Sprint...

The Sprint rep told me that they are being held by customs. Apparently Apple owns the patent on 32GB handheld devices with a 4.8 inch screen (that's the size of the Iphone 5). Who woulda thunk!!!

My status prior was Order in process...or something similar...

I called Sprint to see if I could get a tracking number...nada. The rep I spoke with was suprisingly chatty and liked telling me how much he believes I will love the phone. He did say I may get a big surprise (tracking no.) Tomorrow...I'm thinking I'll get the phone tomorrow.

I'm going to bet on another one to two weeks at this point. This is what my "thanks" to Sprint and Samsung for this little fiasco is going to be: I'm going to root and remove Samsung's TW from my phone, and I'm going to get free wifi tethering from Sprint.

I am NOT going to cancel my order or go to another carrier. That would just be punishing myself!

He is checking his "D" number order status. If you do the same thing you will see the same message. If he checks his "oy" order status he will see the same thing we all see. That status for your "D" number has said that since the day you ordered the phone.

My thought exactly. Didn't really make sense that one person was seeing something no one else was.

Just talked to Samsung Customer Support. They told me that they apologize for the delay and are working diligently to get the phones ready and ship them out. When I asked when the shipping date would be she told me within a couple of wks. When I told her that was unacceptable and would like to speak to a supervisor in the manufacturing department she informed me that she does not have that phone number to give to me.

So what I gathered from this call was that myself along with the other 32gb preorders won't see our phones until sometime in July if we're lucky. Also that both Samsung and Sprint are two of the all time greats at giving their customers the run around.

Dude, this cracks me up!!! Like Samsung is going to transfer you to manufacturi. I'm sure Samsung is cranking these things out as fast as possable and when they get here they get here.

I might take a 16gb, just add in my 32gb card and I should be good. I only have about 12gb of music on it and I don't watch videos on it anyway. I just figured get the 32gb for $50 more and have plenty of space for the pictures and videos.

I just spoke to Sprint CS about 30 minutes ago. She was gone from the phone for a while and came back to say, "There has been a delay, but we're expecting them literally any time now."

Mine is still on back order.

She also told me, BTW, that the stores may have them already, and she seems embarrassed when I incredulously asked if I was hearing her correctly: "The stores have them available sooner than I'll get mine, even though I pre-ordered?"
