I preorder as well at the radioshack by my job June 4th needs to hurry up. I never been this excited about a phone. Not even when I purchased my tour (crickets, crickets) 0_o!!!! I cant wait to burn my bb tour in a bonfire and take pictures of it with my htc evo

When I went to the radioshack they said people came in the day before to preorder but it didnt start until the 14th so I was the first one there to preorder (yayyyyyyyyyy) then one guy came in after me so im suppper psyched

Pre-ordered the EVO at The Shack. Still not sure if I will keep it though. I'm going to use the 30 day money back period to decide. Currently have iPhone 3gs and good AT&T service in CT. Need to see if the EVO and Android in particular is going to work for me. I'm in sales and have a number of apps that I use on the iPhone and hope to find comparable ones on Android. Sprint plan would save me some money too so I'm hoping it works out.

Did you call Sprint on your update date? My date is June 6th but am elgible for update on June 1st. If you have not called them, try and see what they say. Good Luck

Yep, same here. Got my Pre on June 6th and called Sprint to check my upgrade status and they told me Im all good for June 1st and the full upgrade price on the EVO. Uh....June 4th yet?

I went from a blackberry curve 8330 to a Palm Pre on release. Dumped that as soon as the Blackberry Tour came out and now i'm done with Blackberry. Can't wait to get the EVO June 4th on my bday

Good AT&T service in CT? You must life out near Rhode Island or MA or something. Down here in Bridgeport and the surrounding areas coverage is OK but reliability and speed absolutely blows, and up near Hartford and around there there are more dead zones than there are graveyards. I think you should be pretty happy with what you see from Sprint.

I just pre-ordered from Radio Shack. Their "cheat sheet" that tells them how to do it still says that you have to be elligible for your upgrade at the time of the pre-order but I was able to convince them that I will be eligible at the time of the phone's release. The guy was really new, only working there a few days so he took my word for it and punched it through. I have my receipt and my gift card, waiting for June 4th.

I preordered mine like and hour ago at radioshack. The store manager said that from the serial/pin number, they've had 54,000 pre-orders. I dont know how accurate this is or whether or not its just radioshack or Sprint overall.
