Sounds about right. $249 contract price is $50 more than the standard $199 under contract. Add that $50 to the usual full retail of $599 and you get $649. That logic makes me at least feel a little better. Other than the fact I was hoping to use some of my best buy gift cards on the purchase. But I will not however, pay 749, gift cards or not. Hopefully Verizon has this thing the same day as Best Buy or the temptation may lure me into spending an extra $100

That's an understatement lol my local VZW and Best Buy are in the same shopping center. I drove by them both at 8 this morning and again at lunch and they looked like ghost towns. There were a few verizon employees in red standing outside and not a customer in sight. And it's not like I'm in a small area, I'm in the middle of the Dallas area.

If I don't get my upgrade price for the TB (i also reserved it).. then i'm getting refunded and sticking w/ my incredible that I paid $500 for (i bought it outright after all my Droid 1 problems).. and oh well, no LTE..

Actually, It makes sense for Verizon to allow customers to buy the Bolt from Best Buy on Valentine's Day while they sell it at a later date because they can hustle customers into not cashing in their last NE2 credit in some cases and more importantly (for VZW), hustle more people into getting 2-year contracts with BB instead of 1-year contracts (or no contract) with them.

I have an 'early upgrade' supposedly already.. my actual 'new every 2' isn't until August.. If I don't get this phone for the upgrade price, I won't even bother.. HTC will have plenty more phones for LTE out by August..
