It doesnt come up on my Xoom Market and when I go to the market on my computer it only lets me choose my Evo to download it to. The Xoom is greyed out and is not an option.

Maybe the developer blocked this app for tablet users? I don't know. I imagine you could side load it due to the fact that Im currently using it.

Maybe another forum member could tell me how to pull the install files off my Xoom or from the android market?

I know there have been several threads asking what apps are optimized for tablets, but I thought a definitive list along with market links is in order.

Hypocaffeinemia: thanks a lot for creating and maintaining this thread, it is extraordinarily helpful. Just a small suggestion: when you add a new app to the list, could you possibly put next to it the date it was added, so it's easier to keep up with new additions? If not, no worries, the list is still great. Thanks.

just loaded the Gingerbread Style Power Off Animation on both Droid X and XOOM
YouTube - XOOM Gingerbread Lock Animation

the only way this looks legit is if you have Launcher Pro, but stock or any others will work.
1- Download this app https://market.android.com/details?id=com.katecca.screenofflock

2- This is not a widget

3- Open the app (config screen off and lock) check off the "screen off animation"

4- "Screen off animation" choose Old TV Style

5- hit back to save

6- put the app shortcut (screen off and lock) on home screen

enjoy-

for launcherpro users read on...

1- do above steps 1-5

2- on the bottom dock push and hold the app drawer and choose "swipe gesture action"

3- choose launch application...

4- choose "screen off and lock"

5- now swipe on the app drawer icon and enjoy...

I second the call for double twist I actually added it and air sync when I got my zoom haven't had any troubles yet though considering going to the stock music player if I can figure out how to be able to stream rather than store locally. I know that they have pushed at least two updates that were supposed to optimize the app for tablets

Don't see it listed, but Spectral Souls was updated for Tegra2 and HD resolution, works great!

It does feel like it has just been scaled up, but from my initial installation to now it has improved greatly as far as resolution and interface. The album art hasn't caught up as far as resolution but I am hoping that it will soon. Airsync has definately caught up. I had problems initially but now it is working seamlessly.

I am with you. This is definitely not "optimized" for the XOOM. The dev fixed it so it works. It is clearly not optimized though. I am a long time, consistent user of Doubletwist (and airtwist), but I would want it much much more optimized for tablet use.

Motorola has a Help App for the Xoom and it's using fragments, so I think this would be a candidate for this thread.

The app is available Outside the market at Get Help Center app
