i would not see it as a downgrade anyway. The price is already high. For the speaker quality, let's wait for more. But I think it's not gonna be too bad

I also don't care did they using stereo or mono speaker on Pixel, I'm only worried about louder volume clarity and bass on the speaker.

Like iPhone and Samsung devices, they located the speaker at bottom side, which can take my phone put into a cup and make it louder.

Do front firing speakers sound as good as an external bluetooth speaker? Most phones I have had have limited bass for sure.

The one negative i'm unhappy about is the IP53 rating. While I haven't drop a phone in water but it would have been nice to have that security. Front speakers would have been nice but I usually use a bluetooth speaker. All the negativity is coming from the price actually. I don't need IP67, I don't need wireless charging system. If i had those, it would have been easier to justify the price.
