The People's ROM or MOAR?

Root Call Blocker is a paid app that was developed by one of the guys at xda, and I wonder if the built in is along the same lines, it blocks the call at the system level, the phone never rings the call is just dropped. I used to get 20 unwanted calls a day, with this app I can go a few weeks without any unwanted calls. I will see how things go tomorrow, I have 4G when I go into Philly. It was just a frustrating day, when I plugged the phone into my truck and set it in the holder it rebooted, right off the bat, kinda ticked me off. Then I had to reboot in order to get 4G to connect. In the reboot menu there is a hot boot, what does that do? Can't be good with a name like that.

I've only been running 5.01 for a couple of days, and haven't actually been in any 4G areas since I did. But as I said, a ROM really shouldn't affect that.

Hot boot, I believe, restarts the phone without first doing a complete shutdown as a normal restart does. For most things needing a reboot, it'll do the job in less time than a full reboot.

Updating the PRL and Profile did it, 4G changed automatically and my speeds are at 10 Mbps and holding. Live and learn, now I have an answer if it happens to someone else.

I have to update my prl all the time at work. At LAX I'll show 1x then update the prl and back to 4g. It gets rather annoying having to do it multiple times a day.

The only occurring issue is the brightness display in the notification area, even when I uncheck and then check it, it appears for a while and then disappears.

It goes away on a reboot. I've not seen it disappear at any other time on my phone.

It just goes away during the day for me. I shut my phone off every night so I do reset it in the morning and then when I get home and go to dim the display it is gone again. No biggie I programed the the bright button to cycle through 4 settings so it's pretty close to what I want.

I use MOAR and can tether fine. Only problem I have is I can't use Allshare cast and sometimes S Beam doesn't work.

I can't get either one to work either, I gave up rather easily though.

I got Allshare Cast to work today, I had to pull the cat5 cable out of my Sammy TV so wifi would turn on, didn't realize both aren't operational at the same time.
