The reason I'm really exited about ice cream sandwich

Speaking of Google Search...has anyone had to download the basic Android apps from the Market just to update them?

One would think they were autoupdated and all but...no?

Don't even get me started on that. I've had to do this with Gmail and YouTube recently. What's weird, though: my girlfriends Nexus showed an update for YouTube in the market last night when I went to update it for her.

They all show in the Market under my Apps now; however, after I've updated them. So, next time around this shouldn't be a problem. But what about the next time I get a phone.... will I have to repeat this process; or, will this be resolved... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Wonder what version of Android someone who does't come here with a 2.2 device is running, lol.

You know, I think this is why I don't have the new market. :(

I've been waiting for weeks now...

I haven't had this problem, but one thing I don't like about the new Market is the "Update" button doesn't react or change when you touch it, so you don't know for sure whether it went through. The first few times I went to update, I hit it twice because I thought I missed it the first time...but the problem is on the next screen, that same spot is the "Stop" button, so I ended up stopping all my downloads by accident. It's not a bug, just a design flaw. The button needs to react somehow...change color or animate in some way when pressed.

That's weird. Mine turns light blue (really turquoise) when I click it.

So. YouTube update looking me right in the fact. Auto update checked. Not updating. Let's see if it ever does.
