The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll own!

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

So, that sums up the current situation for you fanboys that have been hurt by my legitimate complaints towards Verizon.

Legitimate? Complaints based on speculative information are not legitimate.

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

Sprint: Weak coverage at my home

T-Mobile: Whole family had endless dropped calls

AT&T: Fast data, good (in the city) coverage, currently have a line with them for work

Verizon: Good voice coverage, 3G extremely slow and useless, Been through 7 warranty exchanges, phones that should be fast are slow due to excessive bloat. Most expensive carrier. currently have personal family account with them

So, that sums up the current situation for you fanboys that have been hurt by my legitimate complaints towards Verizon. I don't switch because it's not a viable option currently. If you LOVE Verizon, good for you, but you can check my posting history if you like, I am not just someone who complains about every phone launch on a weekly basis and stays with the company.

Being the best of the worst is frankly annoying and they need to earn their stripes as the ?top phone carrier?. If this is as good as it gets, that's pitiful.

For those of you that don't like hearing others' opinions and think yours is the only one, good luck in life, it's going to be a long hard time for you. A long hard time of you whining about what you perceive as whining from others.

Haha sucks for you! :-)

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

That's the reason I would like to wait this out. Because as much as I want to believe other carriers like samsung or HTC. I can't trust they will give me an update to ICS anytime soon.

I rather go to the source...just like what NEO had to do.

If you can't read then there's no reason to reply right?

Go ahead and try reading the original post again...

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

Don't act like that was the only post in which you've been making complaints. You know very well you've been complaining in this very thread about things that were based in nothing but rumor and speculation.

I know you want to be right, but outright lying isn't necessary.

One complaint of four was based on speculation, again you are totally clueless, and I don't have to want to be right. I am right.

Btw, there's a question mark after each speculative reason listed in that first post INDICATING SPECULATION. Not to mention that I ended it with the statement that this phone launch is the least of the problems I've had with them.

I'll say it one last time: if you can't read, I can't help you.
One thing I am not an expert in: Being dense ** ****

Finally! Someone who can admit that another person's experience might differ from theirs instead of just blindly heaping fanboy worship on their carrier and device! Amazing concept!

techincally announcing a phone over a month ago with no release is wrong. Take a page from apple's book, announce it and release it a few days ready. You don't announce something if it isn't ready for prime time.

Verizon only announced that the Nexus would be out later in the year. Announcing a phone and no release a month later is wrong? Really? What about the Bionic that was announced last Jan at CES and didn't show up in stores until September? Or the Thunderbolt that was really late as well? Waiting a month after an announcement is nothing. I'm sure Verizon wants to get the Nexus out ASAP now for the holiday season.

wahhhhh.

you are a thoroughbred whiner thats for sure.

I have probably the most bloated phone on verizon, the fascinate.. and its very fast.. you basically are lying/making assumptions..

and as far as 3g.. maybe in your area its slow.. but I havent even configured my phone to my wifi because its so fast on 3g there is no point.. and it surfs basically as fast as my home computer on 50mb comcast does.

you love verizon service.. you already state its better then all the competition.. I really wish you would switch to att.. perhaps get an iphone also.. then you could have legitimate reasons to cry like a baby on a forum and I think you would be happier that way.

fixed that for you

Its very difficult if not impossible to changes someones opinion. I'm just glad my experience has been very good with Verizon. However if it was the same I'd switch carriers and wait for their GN release or just get a cheap phone with good quality then root and rom it.

You're so smart that you tell me to switch to ATT, then you quote my post that says that I already have ATT.... Genius.

I said it has better -voice- coverage than all the rest. Learn reading comprehension.

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

I agree that there are plenty of reasons to leave Verizon, I don't think a this phone delay is the most eggregious thing Verizon has done.

How about these?

Bloatware, neutered phones, no unlimted data plan for high end 4G LTE phones with massive HD displays, questionable billing tactics, lobbying against net neutrality.

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

@"ultravisitor"/"philly"

If you're so hurt at me not worshipping Verizon then stop reading the thread, instead of being the real baby here and complaining about how others are complaining.

You're like those people who cry all day about how TV has become vulgar but they don't ever turn the damn thing off. If you cant take the discussion then stop reading the boards. It's not rocket science.

I'm sure that If someone told you that they'd been served bad food at a restaurant you two would be first in line to tell them that they're "whiners" and that all the steaks you've had there are the "best". Fanboy trolls abound....

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

I think they are just confused from the thread title....

Like you just said "I can't believe how vulgar this TV show is, this is the last time I'm going to watch it!"

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

Not that you made the thread btw

Re: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the last Verizon Phone I'll

I was thinking of getting the UK model but, not now, after all the volume issues I've been reading about. That could be pretty bad if it's a hardware issue. I'm kind of put at ease, that this most-likely is not the issue with the VZW model and, if it's just them wanting their two bloatware apps to run, I can gladly live with that.

I've got a Mifi, Xoom and phone plans with them so, I'm sure they're loving me. I will still visit here and wait impatiently for Dec. 8 (the new rumore date) and, be happy when i finally receive the phone.
