the screen polarization is a deal breaker

I just installed spigen crystal screen protector and my screen is noticeable brighter and the screen protector is the best. Look very thin and easy bubble free installed. You don't even know that screen protector on top. Highly recommend.

I stopped buying polarizing sunglasses because there are so many LCDs in my life.

Polarization is the nature of LCD (the way the liquid crystals line up), not directly related to glare or reflection reduction.

But most ppl don't wear their sunglasses to watch TVs either:)

Or, you could buy sunglasses with polarisation that matches the screen. They're not that hard to find. I found some for $10 and they look just like Wayfarers.

Lol, not to trivialise this issue, it really isn't an issue in the UK.

Still no sign of phone's in the UK, is it just the USA at the moment? Any other country got them?

Just like in the Foggy Albion, not an issue here in seattle lol

A film won't change the way the screen polarization interacts with sunglasses. If it's at the same angle, it won't affect it, if it's 90 degrees off, then it will block the screen.

Actually, if the film is 45° polarized, it would sort of "twist" horizontally polarized light and allow some through vertically polarized sunglasses. See the picture below (from this article).
