Okay thats it. Time to HOB this up. But before i do so a couple quick questions that i didnt see answered in your FAQ

1. If - on the off chance - jelly bean is released in the future will we be able to use the HOB to update to it?
2. If I use the HOB to go to go to 246 will i forever be off the update path or will i be able to get back on in the future
3. if i flash 246 will i be able to use things that are created for the official 246 update. IE if someone makes a one click root will i be able to use it since im using the leaked 246 update and the dev made it for the official 246 update.
4. and lastly, do you know of any way to root the droid bionic when it has the leaked 246?

You know, makes sense. Get us off unlimited data for phones running a new OS. If 246 is anything like 232 (and I know it is) i'll be quite happy. Would I like to have JB, yes. Do I care right now, not much. As long as foxfi works, and I get a solid 4G signal I'm gonna keep this phone as long as I can.

SIGH....

1) If you're on the OTA then you can install updates
2) If you're on the OTA then you can install updates
3) If you're on the OTA then you can install updates
4) Are you kidding? The OP of the House of Bionic TELLS YOU it has root built in

Since 246 is the OTA.....see 1-3.

Try to understand I have a LOT going on right now. I have users downgrading to 246. And I'm dealing with something else right now. So, make sure to read everything. I don't have time to walk someone through it right now. Don't take it personally. It's just a crazy freaking day.

This probably is a dumb question, but what do you mean by "they're going to D4 this beach"? Do you mean they'll do the same as the Droid 4? If so, what did they do with the D4?

You don't HAVE to do anything. If you want to remain off the OTA path by sticking with a leak, be my guest. But the HoB isn't going to support 247 anymore. I pulled that support once the OTA version was confirmed by VZW.

Apparently we've all forgotten the D4 ICS update. Soak started and 2 hours later they went OTA. VZW has confirmed that because the soak started accidentally earlier and about 200 people got it, they're just going to OTA it starting tomorrow.

Not all of us pay attention to updates that have nothing to do with the device that we have. Not all of us care. So its not that I forgot, its that I never knew. Understand?
