Google need to sort their life.

Firstly, it's OK they fob the taxpayer off with token gifts and make it look like they're doing us a favour when they're actually saving themselves a fortune but they don't want to invest in something that would actually improve their business? And improve the lives and convenience of so many others.

It's not only Google, it's the banks. They have to agree to allow GP to handle their cards. (And most banks have yet to discover the 20th century, let alone the 21st.)
