[THEMES] Download and request themes here.

How do I do that?

Open up the framework-res.apk of theme_thunderom.zip and the battery meter zip simultaneously. Drag the contents of drawable-mdpi from the battery zip to the drawable-mdpi folder of framework-res.apk. Turn off signature verification in recovery and flash.

I did exactly what you said and it's still the white circle battery mod that you did for me. So, I must have screwed something up. No big deal. I don't know if I have the patience for modding themes...just thought I'd give it a go.

Nick has some people stepping up to assist getting these themes up for the LS670 and I want to take the time right now to thank the people that are lending a hand. Thank you for your time and effort on the themes and make sure if you are going to keep at it that you put up a way to “donate” to your cause. Steindogg is getting Honeycomb out very shortly an I have to say that I have greatly anticipated this theme more than almost every theme out there and can’t wait to see it.

So I really like the ThundeROM modded theme but miss the clock. Is there a way that I can put that back?? Thanks for the help!

Sure, pull services.jar from the original ThundeROM theme, throw it in the modded theme, turn of signature verification in recovery, and flash.

Happy theming :)

I'm still new at this, so I definately won't be anywhere near as fast as nick. And the dialer and contacts are kicking my *** right now. Nick are there xml edits that go along with doing any changes to those apks?

I really want to learn to do that... that way I wont feel like a parasite. :P BTW thanks a bunch... these are gonna be beautiful themes! It feels like Christmas again!

Nick, Honeycomb is done. You want me to send it to you to post, or do you want me to start my own thread to help out porting these requests?

You can start your own thread, go ahead and send me a copy though and I'll throw it up on this thread as well.

Thread is started. Again, many thanks for all your help. If your request list starts piling up, please PM me and let me know which ones you want me to start on.

Great, thanks a lot :) I'll try to come up with a few for ya

Minimal Green. Awesome!

I have it done(mostly). Just waiting for the original creator of the theme to give me permission to post it.

Nick7, not sure if my PM went through or not. WHen I run colorChangev3.jar, i get an error at the end:

No changes needed to services.jar, skipping it
Error: Didn't find framework-res.apk

I think I set everything up correctly. I have the colorchange.jar in c:/ as well as the theme I am trying to modify. Any ideas?

So apparently colorChangev3 is not designed to work with newer versions of android (anything after cm4). So I am back to square one with not having any idea on how to change the text on the status bar notification dropdown. Once I figure that out, the theme is done.

On another side note, I tried running DeskClock.apk through apkmanager to do some edits to that, but for some reason it won't let me push it back to my phone. How can I make changes to a system apk and reinstall it?

Nick was awesome and modded the ThundeROM theme for me so that the menus were black, the clock was removed from the notification bar and the battery icon was a circle.

My question is...can anyone make the circle battery icon a colored one? So it's like blue or green fully charged, yellow when it's running down and red when it's critical?

Thanks!
