[THEMES] Download and request themes here.

Nick was awesome and modded the ThundeROM theme for me so that the menus were black, the clock was removed from the notification bar and the battery icon was a circle.

My question is...can anyone make the circle battery icon a colored one? So it's like blue or green fully charged, yellow when it's running down and red when it's critical?

Thanks!

Give me a few minutes...I'll post it up in a bit...

Edit: Removed theme cause it was an EPIC FAIL.

Nick, for something like this, should I even bother with APK Manager, or just unzip the theme, drop the pngs into framework-res, rezip, then toggle sig verification and flash?

Either way, I am going to bed. I will do this tomorrow morning at work if it hasn't been completed by someone else yet.

Most of my themes are done without apk manager.

Any luck with the white text in notification bar?

Another question about changing the battery mods. If a theme (like my honeycomb theme) only has 5 different battery level pngs(20%, 40%, 60%...), and I want to change it to a SCbattery mod that has 100 different pngs (1 for each level of battery) are there any xml edits that have to go along with those in the drawable folder under the corresponding battery xml? Or can I just throw in the new pngs and flash away...?

Framework-res/res/drawable/battery_stat.xml and battery_stat_charging.xml must be decompiled and edited. The battery mod xml files can be found here but be aware, you must copy the text from the new files and paste them into the old files. After this is done you must add the battery images before recompiling.

Just to be clear:

Pull framework-res.apk from whatever theme I am trying to edit.
Put into APK Manager and decompile
Open the two XML files in the theme with Notepad++
Copy text from SCBattery mod xml files
Paste into theme xml files
Change the png files
Recompile framework-res
Put back into theme
Flash

Sound about right?

Nevermind! Toggled it, flashed it and it looks great!!! Thank you so much!!!

Oh wow...just noticed that when I plug the phone in, the icon goes away. Unplug the phone and it's fine.

I'll leave the theme flashed, but when you have a sec, could you take a look at it?

Unfortunately you have to start with a stock framework in apk manager but you got the idea

Phone is plugged in and battery is at 100 and icon shows up. So, it's just not showing while it's charging.

If you use 7zip you don't even need to rename the file :D

Never been a fan of 7zip, but maybe i'll start using it. I definately see how it could make this stuff easier...

I would love some advice on how to theme DeskClock.apk. There is an awesome mod to it that goes along with my honeycomb port, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to work.
