What is that Theme Chooser thing for Alpha? Why cant we just flash the theme like we could with the 1st theme?

the cm7 one is mad dope but just to let you ppl know it eats up your battery hardcore. my battery only lasted 6 hours using that theme

Have honeycombS on both aosp and Scott pilgram and haven't had any issue with the theme hurting battery life...moderate to heavy use for about 12 - 14 hours

There is no way a theme can drain your battery...its switching out images...nothing more....

Well the last day and half been using that cm7 theme with only 6 hours on a charge and then I switched back to normal earlier and I'm at 70% with 8 hours on the battery so you tell me with heavy usage

Look, I'm getting nearly 24 hours with it and you have not one iota of any knowledge of theming.

Think of it this way, these themes do Nothing that would tax the cpu whatsoever.

So your battery drain was from something else...tell me did you even look at the batt stats to see what was using up the battery?

How was your signal while using it? Where you in a location that possibly was searching for a good signal?

Themes are nothing more than images. Literally. Saying a theme uses battery is like saying changing a picture on your wall makes the electricity bill go up.

Dudes I am serious all I have changed is goin back to stock cm7 theme and Im at 59% on 10 hours with heavy use. I'm not trying to dis this theme cos I love it. The dial pad is mad dope don't get me wrong

Have you tried deleting the old apk's and redownloading the install-first and honeycombS files?? Just a thought.......

Yes I am...it just takes a bit longer for non cm roms

Love the theme.. just having issues with the dock. Im sure I will get it.. do you have the Plus version of Launcher Pro?? Maybe thats my issue.

I think its a lp issue. I've been having to restart lp when I change a dock lately.

Ok.. cuz I tried it on GO Launcher but I couldnt get the stock icon pack to disapear... Im sure I will just have to tinker.. Maybe reflash for the heck of it and then try again Thanks

OK ! I did it.. was thinking too much of it.. used the alpha images to hide the default icons and removed all the shortcuts on the dock except the 3 that line up with the background image. Once u do that you can make all images the alpha which gives the APPEARANCE of a diff Dock!
