There's a storm brewing...

To keep this on topic, I can't wait to use my TB to navigate to 5 guys and to Culvers since I have yet to try the new Culvers we just got. I will also use the TB to look at the menu so I know what I want before I even get there and I will do all of this as I am talking on the phone because yes, we will be able to do that with this device...bam!

I know we talked about 4G/LTE pricing before, but has anyone mentioned or is it possible to have tiered data pricing for 4G/LTE, but also include unlimited 3G with that same plan? So if you are in a 4G area it pulls from the 4G tier and when you are not using 4G, it treats it as it does today with unlimited on 3G. Or if they go to tiered pricing will it be for everyone with a smartphone data plan (4G/3G)?

I don't disagree with that one bit. These last 3-4 weeks have made me actually wish the weekend would hurry up and be over so we could get onto the next speculation date and see if it comes true for once. This weekend will be no different. I am almost mad that I have let myself become so hyped about this phone that I wish my free time away just go get closer to holding the dang thing.
The time passes faster if you enjoy it :D

I look at it differently. They already announced the phone at CES. They've already been advertising on TV, Magazines, etc. At this point, lots of people are aware of the phone and the hype. They won't need seven days of extra hype once they announce the release date. It's 2011, information spreads like wildfire now. They don't need a full week.
You are correct, but it doesn't change the fact that if the release of the biggest baddest phone on VZW's network is coming next week then we would be hearing more leaks the closer we get to the supposed launch date. Employees know about this stuff well in advance and will unintentionally mention what's coming up.

I wouldn't be surprised if this launched on the 17th, but I wouldn't be surprised based off the lack of recent information on a 21st or 27th date either.

If we do get tied to a 4G plan, then we have no choice. Once we have a 4g phone, we need to subscribe to a 4G data plan.

Website down again...
Verizon site down again.
Probably because the site is being attacked because of those not so AWESOME deals! LOL!!

There is NO WAY this happens. According to my Desk Calendar, Spring begins on the 20th, and the 21st is Benito Juarez' Birthday. They won't release with those events stealing the headlines...
and the 21st is on a monday. verizon doesnt release phones on a monday. but maybe they wll finally announce it then, but i think they announce on tuesdays

Ding ding ding ding! Night everyone. Post #1 updated.
Thank you! it sucks coming home from work and finding i have 60-80 pages to read to catch up or find the latest bit of info.

Living in Las Vegas is great. In and Out burgers everywhere lol.

Just had a double double 2 days ago mmmm.

Yeah, I feel like if it was launching next week we would have heard SOMETHING by now. Don't they have to move large amounts of phones to Verizon/BB? Even if they are going to send them next week, plans need to be formed now, and I'm sure there would have been a convincing leak by now if that were happening.

I understand that. That wasn't what I was asking. And again this is unusual, but it got me thinking. More than likely it won't happen and maybe it can't happen.

I wanted to know if we are tied to a 4G data plan, would it be possible to only pool the data from that 4G plan to use against your tier (2GB, 5GB, etc.) for times when you are using 4G data and when your not or in a 3G area to offer unlimited 3G data along with that plan. So you are only eating up 4G data when you actually use it otherwise use the 3G unlimited data plan. That way you wouldn't need such a large tier of data (2GB vs. 5GB or more).

I thought of this because I travel a lot for my job (usually by plane) and I am sometimes in areas that will not have 4G for a while. Now this will get phased out for users with 4G phones, but for others it may be beneficial. Just sayin

Stop talking about all these great burger places that are no where around my city in the Midwest here or i'll be forced to break legs grrr! My choices are Mcd's & BK so stop taunting me and release this phone so at least I have one good thing to enjoy!

I have to add one to your misery... Mighty Fine Burgers in Austin, TX. I've lived in the East, West, and Midwest and it the best burger chain there is. The menu is short and sweet like In & Out (but there's a "secret" menu too), but the burgers are way better than In & Out or 5 Guys.

I seriously have family that flies here from California just to eat Mighty Fine burgers for the weekend.

Argh! Dang Lent! I can't eat meat today... guess I'll put Might Fine on my POS BB Storm2 for lunch tomorrow.

I really would have liked to have watched March Madness in my office with the Bolt. I since decided to take those two days off, but how cool would it have been to put it up on the kickstand and set it next to my monitor and watch at my desk? Everyone would have been jealous. Shame. These are the things I look forward to when it comes to the bolt, just the idea of saying "Hey, I'm better than you" haha.

I'm crying really stop it! We need to focus this energy to hoping for an annoucement by end of the day Monday and please stop torturing us who don't have good burger choices!

I personally like 5 Guys here in northern VA.

Yeah 5 Guys isn't bad, just a little expensive. Culver's is pretty cheap. That's part of the reason I like Culver's aside from their burgers.

I went to a friends wedding in San Diego a couple summers ago, and we ate In and Out 3 times in 4 days and it was a flavor explosion unlike any I had previously encountered (I know, cool story, bro.) 5 Guys is also pretty awesome, kind of greasy and kind of limited menu. The closest you can get to an In and Out burger in NC is Cookout- amazing (and cheap) burgers and shakes. Red Robin and Backyard Burgers are also pretty high on my list.

All this speculation and the crazy anticipation has led me to frustration over this crazy situation.

Wonder Bennnnn, what is the secret of your power?
Wonder Bennnnn, won't you take me far away from the mucky muck?

Also, I live in Central CT. Five Guys is the best of the fast food burger places in all of New England, hands down. Just never, ever get the large fries. No need to. You order the small and they'll still fill your bag. We have one in Enfield and its hard not to stop by when I'm driving to Springfield MA. Carry on.
