This device is a Verizon first. It is going to be treated more like the DROID or iPhone 4 than any other random high-end smartphone on the network.

Hence any possible delays to ensure that it is perfect or near perfect before getting into peoples hands or letting people know when they can get one. I just wish they would let us know something, that's all. I guess we're asking too much.

I'm positive it'll come out the week of the 20th, whether that means March 21 or 24. It gives them ample time to settle down after the iPad and get prepared properly for their first 4G smartphone.

I agree. I guess I'm in the minority, but I think they are going to do a week of advertising and marketing before announcing the future technology of their company. Arguably, this is more important than when the Droid or iPhone launched.

I don't disagree with that one bit. These last 3-4 weeks have made me actually wish the weekend would hurry up and be over so we could get onto the next speculation date and see if it comes true for once. This weekend will be no different. I am almost mad that I have let myself become so hyped about this phone that I wish my free time away just go get closer to holding the dang thing.

I look at it differently. They already announced the phone at CES. They've already been advertising on TV, Magazines, etc. At this point, lots of people are aware of the phone and the hype. They won't need seven days of extra hype once they announce the release date. It's 2011, information spreads like wildfire now. They don't need a full week.

I agree. If he does find out any info, it would probably be at the end of the day, at the earliest. Today is the fruitpad's day and I'm pretty sure that's all Verizon is worrying about today. Tomorrow is a different story.
