My Findings

This is my first post here...so hello everyone!

I just left my Verizon store(greenville, sc) and my salesperson showed me their employee purchase product availability and it shows they are available for 2011-03-17.

They aren't scheduling appointments at my location but I'll be there for 9am when they open. He also said it is a first come first serve so it's possible for them to sell out fast and back-order the rest. He also made a comment that they can't hold phones aside because thy have to go directly to the inventory specialist with the purchase ticket. Nothin on prices. It said "N/A" and also the same for data plan pricing.

I'm new to Verizon and Android (current iPhone ATT User) so I'm anxious to switch!

Hey Ben do u know anything about bb. Everyone has called vz stores and they say Thursday, bb say they don't know anything.

BB most likely wont say anything until VZW has made it official after the 14th fiasco.

Welcome to Android Central and thanks for the info. I could not hold myself any longer and called my local BBY. The rep was very tight lipped and said he did not have any info but said he would call as soon as they had the phones in stock. My only concern is I'm #13 on preorder and I hope they get more than 13 units.

I think it's been established that the whole "8 phones in one store" thing is with regards to a "premium reseller" or whatever the heck it's called and not an official corporate store. You'll be fine I'm sure. I'm headed in to my corp store at 9 AM for sure.
