Hi everyone...left for a couple of hours and this thread blew up again!
Some of us feel that Bennnn is like a God, some of us say no he is the devil. Bottom line....EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS REALTIVE...we have no completely credible and reliable source avaialable to us (only VERIZON can do this)...and they are playing their cards close to the vest. The reason why they are doing this is because by keeping us in the dark as consumers is of greater value than telling us...plain and simple).
Anyhoo, in absence of information, it appears that Bennn is a source that we can look to with reasonable confidence. If you are upset with Bennnn IMO the anger should be at Verizon for not informing costomers what is up and what is down. But I guess that is just the game....

iv been following that as well, wondering how much that lte radio will drain. an gotta wonder how bright 25% is lol. but battery def seems good for me with what he has reported
To back Cory up on this, Bennnnn stated that he sent background checking to the mods, the mods NEVER confirmed this, or anything of that nature. He mentions sending information to iamlilysdad Here, Here, and Here. This doesnt really prove anything. I for one believe Bennnnn but, as Cory stated, the mods have never proven that he has sent them anything.
Agreed. I can say that today, I was able to semi-confirm that Bennnnn is telling the truth that if he is in fact a financial analyst for VZW that he would have information at his disposal. I had lunch today with a friend of mine who is a financial analyst for Motorola. She told me that she has access to any device they are making, however, it is a hassle for her to go directly through their systems because Motorola has gone "dark" on almost all of their developmental products due to past leaks. Financial Analysts do have the capacity to know any piece of any product's equation because they are the ones that have audit and report spending on development, component cost, and manpower to create the gadgets we all love. I asked her about the Bionic and she didnt know anything out of the ordinary about it. She isnt working on that product directly, and she couldnt remember what the internal name for the product was, but its not Bionic. She also hinted at a Wifi Xoom around closer to $499, which kind of backs up the $539 price seen at the Sam's Club mock-up.

I can't find the links anymore, but I know that I did read that one of the moderator did confirm the legitimacy of Bennnn's job.
You are right one of them did confirm Bennnn, I believe its in the Locked Thread...I for one gonna say this about it and people are gonna do what they choose.
If people are gonna keep questioning Bennnn and what he's trying to do, then we might end up with no information at all. You have to remember, he's doing us a favor by going out of his way to post info that he gets here to help ease our frustrations with VERIZON. If I was him, I would have probably gotten pissed by people putting me down for trying to help and I would have stopped with giving out info. But thats me!
I'd rather no information then info that turns out to be wrong. Ok, he said the 10th. That's not happening (according to Bennnnn). He now says the 17th. If that doesn't happen what has his info gained us? Nothing. Disappointment maybe. He also said something about an announcement on the 3/4th. Didn't happen.
He could say again that the 17th is delayed to April 12th. It really means nothing.
Now if ANY ONE of his predictions had actually happened, I'd be on board with Bennnn. But none have.
We haven't heard confirmation of any of his other statements either. Skype, OnLive, Netflix etc. Not a hint of this being true.
I think if he's going to post telling us his job title and touting his info as fact then he should give proof. Some say, "why would he risk his job" to do that? If he's that concerned with risking his job, why is he posting this info at all?
He's only a little concerned with getting caught? I don't buy it. If you're worried about losing your job, post nothing. Another alternative is to provide proof to a forum manager and let the forum manager give the news to us. Then Bennnn is protected. He didn't do that. He likes the attention. I conclude he's doing it solely for the attention, and not to help us out with info.
Either give us all the deets and tell us who you are, or be quiet.

Why is he risking his job telling us all his job title, and all of these details of the phone? I don't think it would be difficult to find out who he really is, if he is in fact a FA at VZW. We could probably narrow it down quickly.
If he's that concerned, he wouldn't post a thing.
What prediction of his has actually happened? Name ONE and I'll rethink my position on Bennnn.
I'm not mad or upset. He's entertaining.
But I can say I was on a conference call this AM. The TB will be released tomorrow. Then I can come on tomorrow and say it's been postponed. Am I now a credible source?

I agree Chrisy. Who knows when it's coming out. Bennnnn said the 10th with a 3rd or 4th announcement. That didn't happen. He changed to the 17th yesterday. My verizon business account rep told me the 10th last night. does this make it true? Absolutely not people. Nothing is the "gospel" until we hear it from verizon press release. End of story
I still have as much hope for the 10th as I do the 17th.

I hear you Chrisy, but I think Bennnnn is just trying to tell us what he knows. He is not responsible for the annoucement and things change. I dont think we've heard about the extras on the phone yet because verizon has been so tight lipped about giving details (besides the 4G). I dont have any reason not to trust Bennnnn yet.
Even BMX Tweeted yesterday that if the phone isnt released on the 17th he will say its delayed. Lets just wait and see.

I have to say I agree with you. BB has ran these ads forever with no launch in site. T-Bolt has to be this week. Verizon has to see all the Angry customers comments on twitter and facebook. I personally switched to Verizon so my wife could keep her iPhone and I could get the Tbolt. I have 59 days, according to AT&T to switch back without penalty......and I might do it if the tbolt isn't out soon
