There's a storm brewing...

I think I've decided on the Droid Incredible if the TB isn't here in March.

I have decided if it is not here in March to simply chill out in April and May because my contract is up in June. Then I will see which HTC phone at that time will fit my needs.

I used to complain about the 6.5 at home in FL but I would kill for that now lol

I hear that. The issue around here though is you can drive 5-10 miles and have a 3.5% difference in sales tax. Sales tax around here can run from 6.5% to 10%. I'm in an area where it's 8.925%.

I'm from Ohio where it's 6.5% and I've lived in NH where there is no sales tax. Although at least here there is a tax holiday every once in a while, but I always forget when that is.

I hope the guesses (because for the most part that is all they are) is correct... March 10th would be great because I'll be leaving TMO and going back to Verizon... I've been with GSM carriers for roughly 10 years now, but TMO has pi$$ed me off this time and I'll pay the ETF to leave them.

And if I remember the last financials from TMO they lost 315,000 customers between 3rd and 4th quarter last year... now make that 315,001!!!

*** Not a bad small rant... I want the Thunderbolt if you couldn't tell.

I am also leaving T-Mobile. While I am doing it mostly due to their horrid coverage, the Thunderbolt will definitely be a plus. I thought about sticking it out for the HTC Pyramid, but what's the point in having a powerhouse phone when your coverage is nonexistent. Don't get me wrong: sometimes T-Mobile is really fast. But it's just so unreliable, I am constantly getting Edge and even "G" on my G2! I'll pay the extra money each month for a phone that actually works. Until T-Mobile fixes that, they are going to be done by 2014.

here is our life patterns

wake up - check blogs/forums - eat - work - check forums during lunch - work- come home - check forums - eat dinner - ignore family to check forums - go to bed - cant sleep so check forums - sleep - wake up early like christmas to check forums - an repeat

LOL - you cracked me up :) excellent!

WTH is going on here?

When will AC (and other blogs) finally get a hands-on review of final version of tbolt?

Verizon needs to get moving with this release or else they'll have all of us playing AngryHumans flinging corporate folk out of their headquarters.

All these negative rumors (could be true too)
Lately of this device just want to make me wait for an additional video review or two.

See that is a good question. This device still had a strong intention of coming out Feb 14th and it wasn't delayed until very very close to the date. They had to have sent out demo units to some of the top blogs. Of course theres probably a huge NDA attached to receiving them, therefore they are not allowed to mention/hint they have one.

Vzw's NDA could even include death knowing them. It's ONLY a PHONE vzw! Wow! And it's not like it's the best one out there.

The reviews are all probably done and just waiting for the restrictions to be lifted. As soon as they announce the reviews will be published everywhere.

I feel myself swaying more and more towards the DroidX right now...

I can understand those of you that may not be within LTE coverage swaying towards a normal 3G phone, but for me, it's LTE only. And for those of you that may not be in LTE coverage, the Thunderbolt may still be the right phone for you since it's the only CDMA phone with SVDO.

While SVDO isn't optimal over CDMA it still adds a new feature until LTE comes to your area.

That would explain Phil being (mostly) absent in these forums. Better to just stay away than be tempted to answer a question that could get him in hot water. Not to imply that he HAS reviewed the device, just an example.

I'm interested because of video calling/Skype. Don't care much about LTE. I'm 60 miles from Boston.

Is that really how it works? They have a NDA too?

Not usually. Very rarely do you get a review the day the device is announced. They'll announce a date, then overnight a device to the reviewers and that's why you usually see thorough reviews a day or two after announcement.

Lol! More conspiracy theories.
