There's a storm brewing...

Verizon planned to release the TB thinking it would be ok to let a few early adopters onto the unlimited plan with an LTE phone. Then after the iPhone dropped and they saw how much strain was put onto the network (a la AT&T 2008) it caused second guessing.

Has the new iPhone been straining VZW's network? I can only imagine what an unlimited LTE data plan would do to even VZW's newly built but unfinished data network.

Lurking forever. Read all 226 pages... Two things I have to say...

1: I believe Bennnnn is who he says he is, and I appreciate the information given to us, but am confused as to why you said you were using someone else's computer and being behind a proxy etc. like you're hiding and trying to sneak us information and then posting as if you're the AC spokesperson for Verizon? Just curious?

2. I'm just going to leave this here in hopes of less people posting useless info/rumors and more concentrating on the important stuff.

.........And this notion that Verizon or any tech company doesn't care about the rabid technorati is laughable. We represent the bloggers and the early adopters and the people who recommend technology to our peers and our families and our friends..........

I agree...new to the "phone" scene and I agree that the experts will find any hidden cracks in the armour....and they will blog about it...and that is what many of these review sites use as the "news". It can make or break an entire line. Windows phone may be a good example of this.

Pretty sure right now there are some people over at Big Red telling their bosses "you have the tiger by it's tail right now...this thing is gonna go bad pretty quick if we alienate our biggest fanbase"....of course they are not the bosses. Just saying...they must be concerned. After reading the threads in this site for the last two months almost daily, I have a feeling that some of you who really are experts are going to give the bolt no quarter if it doesn't deliver!

I'm hoping they turn this thread into a movie. Could be Charlie Sheen's first gig since his liberation.

And even worse, right now the guy is making as much sense as some of the posts in this thread, including a couple of my own rants!

He seems to have gone off the rails as badly as a lot of us in here waiting for a damn phone.
