I have the $9.99 promo on 10 lines. I pray that nothing changes as far as 3G goes. If they are charging extra for 4G I hope the treat it like an add on item and the existing plan stays the same.

If they can throttle speeds of 4G then I would assume that when you order it they can shut 4G off and allow you just 3G.

I have the promo too and if they are going to make me ditch it then I will be very upset. I had to change to the 1400 minute shared plan to get it and didn't opt for free mobile2mobile minutes.

I have the Talk, Text, and Data program as well. I asked my corporation's Verizon rep about this when he was here and he said that he wasn't sure if the LTE data plans would screw up the promo or not. He said the best option is to go to a Verizon store directly to get the phone so maybe they could override the change if it does change.

i dont get the tired data for 4g. it makes no sense to have unlimited 3g and capped 4g. so we can get to 5 faster than ever before then boom its over! personally i would be fne with 5gb and throttling. i cannot spend anymore money on my family's mobile service but i dont want to have to worry about going over every month or have to stop short of my months end.

3G most likely won't stay unlimited. During the iPhone announcement, they said they'd be offering unlimited for a "limited time" so they could draw in more customers
