There's a storm brewing...

I wouldn't go to the store on this. I work for the department who does these special promotions and only we can add or modify this on the account. If you still have the e-mail about this promotion call the phone # listed on the e-mail and ask us. I asked in a meeting how this would effect customers with this promotion and it is not known at this time. I assume that data pricing hasn't been finalized so there is no word on this yet. Once the phone and data plan are announced I will post any info I have on this.

This promo is no longer available. The last day that you could get it was 1/31 at midnight. Not sure if that makes a difference.

What about my generic "TALK & TEXT PLUS DATA $20 DISC" will that be squashed too??

I would think that if you have that fee line in your bill, you will continue to get it, unless you change a feature on your line. Not sure if getting a 4G LTE device would qualify as "changing a feature".

I don't understand how a company could get to the point of publicly announcing and marketing a new network, and then producing and shipping a new phone to accompany it -- yet -- pricing options are still "being considered."

I don't work in this space and if I'm missing something obivious, apologies to our VZ insider. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Hence the lack of the announcement.

So that's it. Verizon really is about to lower the tiered boom on us.

Unbelievable.

I was afraid of that right from the beginning. Unlimited LTE data was too good to be true.

Anyways, I'm still in. Tiered or Unlimited.

Bennnnn, we could really use some good news. And not that you have a date with a hot chick. Something about the Thunderbolt. ;)

HEY Bennnnn i know u have access to inventory............has verizon shipped the TBOLTS accordingly?????????????

can you tell us that?????????

No point of speculating what's gonna happen with the data plans. Maybe VZW surprises us with unlimited for $25 as an early easter present. Who knows?

Ben, since you're a financial analyst for Verizon and are likely putting together all the financial ROI and forecast models for LTE pricing plans, please sabotage your data in any way possible so that Verizon thinks it's more profitable to stick with unlimited 4G for us @ 30 bucks a month... ;)

I'm being facetious, of course

...but seriously, do it :p
